Winnie is the Founder & CEO of Carra, an AI-driven digital hair health platform helping women with textured hair to care for their hair.

Winnie is Nigerian-born and UK-dwelling. After graduating from the university of Manchester with a First class degree in Management & Information Technology. She started her career in the corporate world at IBM and Ernst & Young before moving to the thrilling world of start ups, spending the majority of her career building cutting edge consumer apps at ASOS, Net-a-porter, LVMH - most notably, Givenchy’s first mobile app and the recommendations engine recommending style to 20 million active customers at ASOS.

She cofounded Andverv, a contemporary womenswear label which debuted at London Fashion Week with an experiential installation.

She started Antidote Street and built it into a cult platform referred to by Dazed as ‘the forward thinking platform for textured hair’. As a textured hair advocate, she spearheaded the launch of the salon manifesto, and has been on several judging panels for several beauty awards.

A recent Women in Innovation winner (InnovateUK 2022), Winnie is building Carra to advance the textured haircare experience. When not throwing sprinkles all over the textured haircare experience, she is an art fiend, loves consulting with brands and public speaking.
